Description
This handmade, solid oak clock is made from the lid of a reclaimed
whisky barrel lid. The black french spade metal hands with branded
numbers and bee time markers, and quartz battery powered mechanism,
makes a great feature and talking point in any room.
It hangs on a strong key hole bracket that has been secured with 4 steal screws.
It has an approximate diameter of 54cm.
If you Wish to customise this clock, I can add text round the centre of the clock using a process called pyrography.
As
all items are handmade to order, they’re all unique. Whilst every
effort will be made to emulate the product shown in the images,
variation is to be expected as we are working with reclaimed timber and
oak barrels, including all metal work on any product. This can include,
but is not limited to:
•Slight colour variations
•Slight size variations
•Slight character variations
•The
rustic nature of the product and the use of reclaim staves means that
slight surface blemishes and some discolouration are to be expected, and
are part of the staves life story. I will always do my best to remove
as much as I can, but the staves have had a hard life making whisky and
these are all part of their charm, after 100 years I’d have a few dinks
and cracks too!
